Vincent Shonia is a seasoned entrepreneur, multi-industry founder, investor, and business coach based in San Diego, California — a city he has called home for most of his life since arriving at the age of six. Rooted in faith, driven by purpose, and shaped by decades of hands-on experience, Vincent has built a career defined by one unwavering conviction: that businesses, at their best, are vehicles for serving others.
“My mission is to build companies with purpose — to serve others and to expand in ways that create lasting impact.”
Vincent’s entrepreneurial story began long before he ever founded a company. At just 12 years old, he was washing dishes at a local banquet hall in Detroit, Michigan — his first lesson in the dignity of honest work. By 16, he was managing a telecom business, developing the instincts for leadership that would define the decades ahead. When he returned to San Diego in 2002, he channeled that drive into his first venture: a Sprint Nextel franchise that grew into three successful retail locations across San Diego County. Recognized by Sprint Nextel for his innovation, Vincent developed a pioneering mobile and remote service model that brought store-level technical support directly to corporate clients, government agencies, and large enterprises — eliminating downtime and redefining customer convenience.
When a shift in Sprint’s corporate leadership eliminated indirect channels in 2006, Vincent saw not a setback, but an opportunity. Motivated by a lifelong love of art and creativity — and a desire to operate without the constraints of franchise politics — he founded Rock’n Graphix, a marketing firm specializing in graphic design, digital arts, print, and creative business services. His mission was clear: help small and mid-sized businesses grow through smart, compelling sales and marketing strategies.
As his client base expanded, so did his vision. By 2012, Rock’n Graphix had evolved to offer web design, app development, product manufacturing, and comprehensive business solutions. In 2016, the company was rebranded as ParkWest Solutions — a full-service business development firm offering eCommerce solutions, team building, sales expansion, business coaching, and technical consulting. It was through this expansive work with clients across a wide range of industries that Vincent gained deep insight into the healthcare sector, spending five years working in close partnership with healthcare organizations to understand their operational landscape from the inside out.
That expertise culminated in 2023 with the founding of Pacific Health Group — perhaps Vincent’s most mission-driven venture to date. Designed to serve Medi-Cal members throughout California, Pacific Health Group delivers Enhanced Care Management, Behavioral and Mental Health Services, Community Support Services, Non-Ambulatory Medical Transportation, and Community Health Worker programs. Today, the organization serves members across 44 California counties, with expansion into five additional states currently underway.
Beyond building companies, Vincent is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs through coaching, mentorship, and strategic investment. He brings to every engagement the same grit and pragmatism that took him from dishwasher to founder — offering guidance not from the boardroom, but from the trenches.
At the core of everything Vincent does is his faith. As an Eastern Rite Roman Catholic, he believes that his role as an entrepreneur is inseparable from his role as a human being: to help others — financially, physically, and spiritually. He views the businesses he builds not as ends in themselves, but as expressions of a deeper calling to serve, uplift, and leave the world better than he found it.
